The winner of the Scientific and Human Interest Newspaper of the Year International Category has been announced. The Geographic Earth Picture of the Year has been given to the picture by Guardian Media Group for their “World of the Dead” newspaper app. And a picture by Der Spiegel showing the close-up view of the Wehrmacht unit made its into the final four. The contest was held in Zurich, Switzerland, at the end of April and the prize was announced on Sunday by the Graphic Association.
